Kabogo said that those accusing Raila of wreaking havoc in Jubilee are being malicious. Speaking on Kameme FM on Monday, Kabogo asked Raila’s critics to leave him alone.

He said the Former Prime Minister and President Uhuru Kenyatta truce was for the benefit of the country in uniting all Kenyans and that Raila saved the country when he agreed to work with the President.

“People should leave Raila Odinga alone and give him space to work with President Kenyatta especially on matters corruption. He has repeatedly said that he is not interested in 2022 politics and I think he means it,” the former Governor said.

Kabogo asked politicians attacking Raila to stop and instead use their time to serve Kenyans. Kabogo added that some politicians are using Uhuru and Raila’s name for political relevance.

A section of politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto is accusing Raila Odinga of causing rifts in Jubilee.

Garissa Township Aden Duale hit out at Raila labelling him as a 'parties’ breaker' and alleged that he is hiding behind the ‘handshake’ to split the ruling Jubilee party.

“He (Raila) split KANU, NARC, CORD, NASA and now wants to split our Jubilee Party, we will not allow it to happen,” Duale said on Saturday in Mandera where he had accompanied DP Ruto to flag off relief food.

Raila and Ruto's allies are engaging each other in public over the ongoing renewed fight against corruption.

Ruto’s allies claim that Raila is using the fight against graft to taint Ruto's name ahead of the 2022 polls.
