Kesses Member of Parliament Swarup Mishra has dismissed a fake Facebook purporting to be his official account.
He insisted that he only had one account he runs official page which is Dr. Mishra Kiprop Arap Chelule and not Hon. Mishra Kiprop.
“I would again like to bring to your attention the accounts Hon Mishra Kiprop purporting to operate in my name. This is a fake account exhibiting my name and administered by crooks and barons conning my unsuspecting people to send some cash to be awarded a motorbike,” said the first-term Kesses legislator.
The MP warned the public to beware of the counterfeit account to avoid being conned by the fraudster.
“I want to state it very categorical, that issuance of motorbikes was and is still part of my philanthropy. Have been donating a motorcycle to administration and churches free without any coin paid and my spirit is still on course,” added the Jubilee Kesses member of parliament.
Mishra called on residents to ignore any fraudsters demanding a down payment of Sh10,000 and also help him report those parody accounts and pages so that together they can stop the spread of lies and rumors.
