Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga is the right man to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, Former Nominated Senator Paul Njoroge has said.
Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Njoroge praised Odinga saying that he is the best candidate for president while President Uhuru Kenyatta is the suitable candidate for executive Prime Minister.
“Raila is the most suitable candidate for president in this country…Uhuru Kenyatta is also the most suitable executive Prime Minister to finish his projects that he did not do when he was constrained by his deputy,” he stated.
Former Nominated Senator Paul Njoroge has also rubbished claims of Uhuru Kenyatta serving Kenyans for 10 years then later DP Ruto serving for another 10 years claiming that, the promise was just a slip of the tongue.
“Hakuna deni ya 10 years Uhuru and 10 years Ruto…That was a slip of the tongue from the president and it is allowed," he added.
The veteran politician urged President Kenyatta to ask Deputy President William Ruto to come clean on several scandals he has been linked to in the recent past.
He argued that Ruto has failed the President when it comes to service delivery, adding that he is partly to blame for the unfulfilled promises Uhuru made to Kenyans.
