The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has been under criticism from the Tangatanga group lately, the latest scenario being over his Likoni dredging order on Saturday.

But Nduko now says that the group, having realized that it comes from places where Raila enjoys little support, is using him to impress the electorate for political mileage.

Speaking on Wednesday, he said that the Tangatanga team is the culprit on this issue, observing that Raila's allies are more silent and are no longer attacking the DP as before.

"This idea that its Raila and Ruto all the time is not good, please get another idea that you can use to convince the voters with," he said on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation.

He lashed out that those who have been bashing Raila over the Likoni directive, observing that he was only giving a suggestion as a senior Kenyan and a trained engineer.

Mr Nduko said that the DP might have it hard properly ruling the country if these are the people who will be joining him in leadership should his 2022 presidential bid sails through.

"Raila has done it very well, we nolonger see ODM MPs opening their mouths all the time. Supposing Ruto wins the presidency tomorrow, are these the people he wants to go with? he posed.
