ODM leader, Raila Odinga has made it clear that he is not in Jubilee Party and he is not planning to join the party.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citizen TV on Friday, Raila claimed that Jubilee Party leaders, President Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto, have got their own issues concerning their party which he cannot interfere with.
On the 2022 presidential race, the ODM party leader argued that there will be many people who will vie for the seat and it is not DP Ruto alone in the race.
"I'm not in Jubilee Party and I am not planning to join the party. The Deputy President and President Kenyatta have their own issues that I can't interfere with. Not only the Deputy president will vie for presidential seat in 2022, there will be other many people (Siko kwa chama cha Jubilee na sina nia ya kujiunga na chama hicho. Naibu Rais na Rais Kenyatta wana mambo yao na siwezi ingilia kati. Wengi watawania kiti cha urais 2022 sio naibu rais tu," Raila said
There has been a lot of speculation on his plan for 2022 even as his allies hint that he could be on the ballot.
He has, however, remained tight-lipped on this debate.
