The Holiness and Repentance Ministry leader Prophet David Owuor is this Sunday scheduled to hold a healing service at Holo grounds in Kisumu.
Prophet Owuor commands a huge following across the country and the service is expected to attract a huge crowd.
Locals in Kisumu town have expressed various reactions after news of Owuor's service.
Here are some of the comments from the locals who spoke to hivisasa.com;
"As human beings, we end up committing sins every day and it's not by our will but by temptations we face every time. Am so glad the prophet of God will come to wash them away," said Kennedy Omondi, a resident of Kisian.
"My brother has a congenital condition known as cysts, I hope on that day the prophet of God will ensure his healing," said Darimus Otieno, a resident of Milimani.
"Let the prophet pray for those sinners in the government like some governors who kill people as they consider themselves jury and executioners. Let the Lord's mercy be upon them," noted a local from Kondele, Dorothy NyaKisumo.
"My mama has been sick and admitted in the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga referral Hospital for over five months, let the prophet heal her on that day," said another Kondele resident Christine Achieng.
"On 16th September I will pray for all the students in the nation who will be sitting for their KCSE exams coming November. Let them pass their exams," said Mama Akinyi, a resident of Mambo Leo.
