Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has rubbished claims by a section of ODM allied MPs that they are planning on impeaching Interior CS Dr Fred Matiang'i.
Led by the National Assembly Majority Leader John Mbadi, the MPs claim that Deputy President William Ruto’s camp has tasked two of its legislators to collect signatures for Matiang'i's impeachment.
Sudi slammed ODM party over the allegations. He urged the Raila Odinga-led party to stick to its lanes adding that it has failed as an opposition party.
“I urge ODM to observe their lanes and stick to matters of opposition, they failed in opposition and they cannot teach us on how to run a government. I really wonder how ODM has run out of ideas to an extent they are lecturing us on the government side. Are they in government more than us?.. Mbadi should know that we have no time to hear them, we will deal with our issues internally within Jubilee,” read part of his post.
The firebrand legislator also termed ODM as a clueless party with no agenda for Kenyans. “We know ODM is a clueless party that has no agenda to Kenyans and they have perfected in thriving in crisis,” added the Kapseret MP.
The claims by ODM MPs have since elicited mixed reactions as Matiang'i is one of the powerful Cabinet Secretaries in the ruling Jubilee government.
