Vocal trade unionist Francis Atwoli has rubbished claims that he has run away with another man's wife.
Speaking in Kisumu on Monday, Atwoli said he is a gentleman who cannot humiliate another man in such a way.
“Somebody recently tried to tarnish my name on social media claiming that I’ve run away with his wife… what a foolish man he is! My dad told me if you are still alive, don’t fool around with some peoples’ wives,” Atwoli said.
The flamboyant unionist was forced to respond after a man claimed that he has lured his wife, who is a news reader in one of Kenya's leading broadcasters, using his riches.
“Even the several wives I have, I always confirm from their parents whether they are single or not. Therefore, I cannot take someone’s wife,” Atwoli added.
The rumour mills went on an overdrive over the reports of Atwoli snatching someone's wife. It became a hot topic on online platforms and gossip blogs.
