Former Machakos Women Representative Dr Susan Musyoka has vowed to make a comeback in the forthcoming 2022 general election.
Speaking to journalists at Machakos Golf Club on Friday, Musyoka asked her supporters to remain calm and patient.
The former MP said that that 2022 is not far and she will return to continue the development agenda.
"I will be back so that we can continue the development agenda we started," Musyoka said.
The former Machakos Woman Rep urged residents to work with their current leaders on development.
She asked Governor Alfred Mutua and other elected leaders to champion development especially on areas of women and youth empowerment.
Musyoka said that unemployment, women rights violation and lack of basic needs to residents like water remains a big challenge in Machakos.
"Service delivery to Kenyans should be the ultimate goal of every elected leader," she added.
Musyoka lost re-election to Joyce Kamene in the August 8, 2017 general election.
The former MP contested re-election as an independent candidate after she lost the Wiper party ticket.
There has been speculation that the former Machakos MP is eyeing the Machakos senatorial seat in the upcoming 2022 general election.
Kiambu based Political analyst Peter Ngure says Musyoka is among political losers who are likely to make a political comeback in 2022.
