Taking to his Twitter on Saturday, the vocal Jubilee leader vowed that Parliament would petition the Judicial service commission in a view to reviewing the Kadhi's conduct whom he accused abuse of office in executing his mandate as provided for in the article 210 of the constitution.

The Garissa Township MP added that the Kadhi's was out of order on his stance against the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National government, Fred Matiangi who declared Tuesday as Idd day.

"We shall send a petition to the Judicial Service Commission to discuss the conduct of the Chief Khadhi for an abuse of office in the discharge of his duties as provided in article 170 of the constitution of Kenya 2010."

"Chief Khadhi is out of order and should not fault the Cabinet Secretary on Idul- Adha holiday fate. This will divide Muslims," he tweeted on Saturday.

Speaking in Mombasa on Saturday, the Chief Kadhi faulted CS Fred Matiangi for defying his proposition that the Idd day is marked on Wednesday.

The Chief Kadhi explained that the moon was sighted on Sunday, 12, and thus, he said, the celebration day is supposed to be on Wednesday, 22.

“I wrote to him before the announcement indicating that Muslims would celebrate Idd on Wednesday but he went ahead to declare Tuesday as the public holiday,” said the Chief Kadhi.
