After a week of political madness, some very controversial statements were made by Senior Jubilee politicians- utterances which further fueled conflict within the ruling party.

However, Garissa Township MP Aden Duale, Ruto's trusted ally, has now vowed to discipline a section of politicians.

Former Jubilee Vice Chairman, a key Uhuru strategist, David Murathe set the political storm in motion when he declared that he would do everything to ensure that the DP is barred from the 2022 presidential race.

Later, Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria and his Bahati counterpart Kimani Ngunjiri joined the debate as the war within the party threatened to span out of control. And today, Duale has vowed to discipline the trio.

Jubilee is a national party and we allow freedom of expression and opinions to be exercised by our members.

But irresponsible utterances by Moses Kuria, David Murathe and Kimani Ngunjiri disparaging our leadership will not be entertained...we will pursue necessary disciplinary action against them in line with our constitution," Duale told the Sunday Nation.
