The show which is aired on Citizen TV ended prematurely in an interview with Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.

Koinange declared it over and done with after Sonko took to the podium to expose Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris, rejecting all attempts to address other issues. He cited "editorial and quality concerns" in ending the interview.

Etale now wants the show to change to an inspirational programme. He says it should shift from inviting politicians to inspirational figures

According to him, its time JKL moved from its current state as a confrontational show to a place where the youth can get teachings and tutorials about life.

"My take on what transpired on JKL last night; I think it is high time my friend Jeff Koinange changed the show from a confrontational platform to a more educative forum where he can invite professionals from various fields to educate people and especially the youth about life," he tweeted, Thursday.

This is not the first time Koinange is finding himself in such a situation, after landing in a similar one three years back, involving Passaris and controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna.

This was after Miguna hurled insults at Passaris on live TV, resulting in Koinange's sacking from KTN.
