The court heard that the two accused persons committed the offence together with others not present before court.

Mombasa Resident Magistrate Henry Nyakweba heard that the two together with others stole the kitchenware at Ferry Island bus terminus in Likoni sub-county.

According to the prosecution the two allegedly stole nine sufurias worth Sh8,000, 60 spoons worth Sh1,200, 67 plates worth Sh4,000 and 35 cups worth Sh1,500.

They were also accused of stealing a thermos flask valued at Sh2,000, two tables and benches worth Sh6,000.

The two also stole four charcoal stoves worth Sh3,000 and four pan lids worth Sh400 from Asha.

They however denied the charges before the court.
