The outspoken MP of Kitutu Chache South Richard Momoima has condemned Kisii Governor James Ongwae for causing agony to his family since everybody in his household including himself, is sick.
Onyonka spoke this while addressing Journalists yesterday in Kisii when he angrily condemned the governor's bad leadership and bribery actions which led to the contractor who was working on Kisii-Oyugis road to stop the construction.
This has caused many troubles in the region, stalling businesses as well as causing sickness in the region. The vocal MP explained further that he was sick, his wife was sick and the health of his children was wanting just because of the dust which was caused indirectly by the governor.
This was after the Ongwae's government demanded that the contractor should pay tax levies for the water used in the construction. A move Momoima condemned strongly saying it is based on bribery and bad governance of the governor.
“As am speaking, am sick. My wife is also sick, so are my children. This is because the road from Kisii to Oyugis came to a halt, all because the governor wanted to be bribed by asking the contractor to pay for the water. His actions have brought health issues in the region as dust is embedded everywhere,” Momoima said.
