Kenyan rapper King Kaka has landed a chance to share a stage with other prominent entrepreneurs and leaders across the globe in the second annual Goalkeepers event in New York this September.
King kaka took to social media to show his excitement after he got the chance to give a talk at the event scheduled for September 25-26 at Lincoln Center.
"Another win for Kenya. Very excited to be speaking at this year’s Goalkeepers alongside Trisha Shetty, Ed Sheeran, Bill Gates, Aranya Johar, Melinda Gates, Graca Machel and David Sengeh. New York see you this September," he said when he spoke to the media.
The Goalkeepers 2018 event will begin with the Global Goals Awards ceremony on the evening of the 25, followed by a daytime event on the 26th where different entrepreneurs will address the audience.
Bill and Melinda Gates are the co-chairs of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The duo is expected to gather emerging and established leaders in government and business, as well as activists and performers for the event.
The in attendance list include young leaders such David Sengeh, Chief Innovation Officer for the government of Sierra Leone, Trisha Shetty, an Indian lawyer, social activist, and founder of SheSays, Aranya Johar, an Indian spoken word poet.
