Magwagwa ward MCA Fred Omayio on Friday explained the reason why he caused chaos in Kisumu last week in presence of his colleagues.
At a funeral in his backyard, Omayio blamed the county leadership of misusing funds without executing it's mandate as outlined in the constitution.
"I was very much against the meeting because we are drawing a lot of allowances without doing a substantial job. We have abandoned our roles for no good reason. There is need change for the good.
"It beats logic that we are holding such meetings outside the county yet we have facilities in Nyamira. That beats logic on devolution and the devolved systems," he said.
Further, he accused MCAs opposed to him of blackmail, adding that they all have a responsibility to guard public resources.
He also added that he will remain firm to defend the funds of the county whenever they are misused.
