Jubilee Vice chair David Murathe in his series of spitting salvos to destroy DP Ruto's presidential ambitions hint at the opposition to form a mega alliance by merging Jubilee party and NASA coalition ahead of 2022 general election.

Attending Raphael Tuju brother’s burial in Siaya, Murathe stated that in case the former premier will not vie for presidency, NASA ought to  form an alliance with the ruling party to form the 'Jubilee National Coalition’

.“Kwani iko nini (what is wrong with that?),” quoted by Standard Digital Murathe, claimed that Mt Kenya is ready to support any presidential candidate of their choice.

He has further maintained that the second in command will not be president vowing to take the matter to the courts to give guidance on Ruto's eligibility to run for presidency.

“Na tutaenda mpaka supreme court, hatucheki na watu (we will go to supreme court, we don’t joke with anyone),” Murathe declared.

With the advent of the Uhuru-Raila handshake, things have not been rosy with the deputy president taking his allies sputtering fires in what they believe that dynasties are consolidating to sideline the deputy president.
