In a long-winded Facebook post, made a string of claims which should have warranted his summoning to record a statement.

There has been no indication that the activist has recorded a  statement with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Mwangi appears to have information about the attempted assassination.

Law enforcement officers are on a fishing expedition.

Anyone with information should be summoned to record a statement as investigations continue.

The family of the former CEC has expressed serious concerns about how the investigations are proceeding.

Allowing Mwangi to record does not in any way validate his claims but enables investigators to pursue leads that could help resolve the attempted murder puzzle.
