He will be hosting a segment in the breakfast show and has said that he will be studying the habits of many Kenyans so as to make the segment interactive.

''It's a segment like the one I do on Citizen TV called Day Break. The whole idea is to spark a conversation on the errands people are running on that day. We will meet people and interact with them as they go to work or walking around the town," Kimani said as quoted by Kenyans.

The reporter and news anchor is popularly known for his traffic updates and for hosting a segment on Friday 9 pm on Citizen TV where he asks people odd random questions that charms the viewers.

A week ago, he launched a show titled The Happy Hour alongside Patrick Igunza and Willis Raburu which airs from 3 pm to 7 pm on Hot 96 FM.

Kimani was working with Nation Media Group's NTV as a digital producer before moving to Citizen TV in May 2018. Seemingly the year has been a success for the young lad.
