Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi is set to visit the United States where he will hold lectures and meet Kenyans, an ANC Member of Parliament has divulged.
Mudavadi will fly out of the country on Tuesday, and is expected to give lectures at Massachusetts University and the Chamber of Commerce of Boston on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
According to a report by Standard, after delivering the lectures, Mudavadi will then host a meeting with business men and US investors in New Jersey.
The peak of the tour will be on Saturday where he will oversee the launch of Kenyans Diaspora Conference in New Jersey.
“On September 30 and October 1, he will hold meetings in Washington DC. On October 2 and 3, he will meet the Kenyan business community in Atlanta and sit down for an interview with CNN,” Vihiga MP Alfred Agoi said as quoted by Standard.
Reports indicate that the ANC partly leader will be accompanied by two MPs from his party.
Meanwhile, Mudavadi and the ANC party leadership have been on a domestic campaign tour aimed at popularising the party. So far, they have visited Kajiado, Kakamega and Makueni counties.
The ANC party leader has already expressed interest in running for the presidential seat in the 2022 general election.
