Self-proclaimed 'Mighty Prophet of God' David Edward Owuor is undoubtedly one of the most followed men in the world.
He is the founder and running one of the biggest religious sects in the nation, known as the Repentance and Holiness Ministries.
Owuor who holds a Masters Degree from the Ben Gurion University in Israel, however, remains a bachelor despite being in his fifties.
What is not known to many is that Owuor has a son and almost married an Israeli girl during his stay in Israel, but the plan would later flop after he moved to Chicago, United States for further studies.
His attempts to take the girl with him were quashed by opposition from her family.
Another attempt to marry his new American girlfriend also hit the wall after she left him when he began seeing 'visions' before he finally decided to give in and preach the gospel.
In an interview with the Standard Digital four years ago, he admitted that he might never make another shot at marriage life, citing his ever busy lifestyle.
According to the prophet, he is always on the move and is, therefore, unable to settle down and concentrate on a family.
“In this calling, one cannot be able to raise a family because you are always on the move from town to town, country to country," he is quoted by the SDE.
