A middle aged man was on Monday evening caught in the act with a at Manyatta, Kisumu.
The angry residents who busted the man beat him up, after which they reported the incident at the Kondele Police Station.
On arrival at the station, the man defended himself claiming that he always had intercourse with animals, to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS.
"I am sorry for this shameful act. I'm sorry to the owner of the pig, and all residents in Manyatta. I have sex with animals to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS," the man claimed.
According to the owner of the pig, the man tried to escape but was unlucky.
"It was yesterday evening. I was relaxing in my house and heard some noise from where I peg my pigs. I came out of the house only to find this man in the act with one of my pigs. He was pants down. He tried to escape when he saw me coming, but I got hold of him and called my neighbors who beat him up before taking him Kondele Police Station," the owner of the pig lamented.
One officer at the station urged the angry residents to keep calm, adding that legal action will be taken against the culprit.
