The pastor, Elisha Njuguna of Gospel Redeemer church is said to have accidentally touched a female member's breast while praying.

Pastor Njuguna who was on the receiving end following the incident, however, defended himself saying, "I didn't mean to touch her inappropriately. We were praying with our eyes closed so in the process of placing my hand on her head, I accidentally touched her breasts."

Church members could however not tolerate what they termed as 'immorality in the house of God'. Some of the members walked out during the service in protest.

"This is so immoral. How can someone who calls himself the man of God touch a woman sexually during a prayer. And he dares to say it was accidental. There is nothing like accidents when it comes to sinning," Roseline Kachira, a member of the church said.

The pastor attempted to apologize several times to the other members who were still in church but they angrily shouted him down.

A woman who was being prayed to, however, came to the pastors' rescue saying it was accidental.

"Brothers and sisters please calm down. He did not mean to do it and I sincerely apologize for being the source of all these troubles," she said.

A good number of the church members, however, were not satisfied with the explanation as they left the church as the service was still ongoing.
