Followers of the popular preacher David Owuor in Kisii have broken silence after Owuor was accused of misusing his followers' property.
The followers led by Julius Ombui and Margaret Nyarangi, defended Prophet Owuor saying those peddling lies about the church are satanic.
"Owuor enjoys a massive support across the country due to his miracles. Some egocentric individuals are out to tarnish the name of the mighty prophet and the entire Ministry of Repentance and Holiness," said Ombui.
Ombui claimed that those who are tainting the prophet's name should repent before a calamity befell their families.
"It is important to note that Owuor never takes 'sadaka'. How can he misuse followers property? Anyone who surrenders his property to the church will be blessed," he noted.
On her part, Nyarangi stated that Owuor is a true prophet who must be accorded respect.
"People should stop tarnishing the Prophet's name with an aim of seeking relevance. It time people should turn their lives to the lord before the return of Christ," she noted.
She argued that the false accusations targeted to Owuor won't shake the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness.
