South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro has mourned the late Mzee Omariba of Kitutu Chache North constituency in Kisii County.
Mzee Omariba was the grandfather to Osoro.
In his mourning message, Osoro said the late had his last breath last night.
"My maternal grandfather, confidant and by extension father, Mzee Omariba of Kitutu Chache North has gone to be with the Lord. He took his last breath last night peacefully in his sleep to join his wife, my grand-mum who passed on a year ago. My Kitutu Chache North visits just cut short like a joke. May mzee R.I.P," wrote osoro on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
Osoro is serving his first term after having been elected on the August 8, 2017, polls.
The youthful lawmaker is expected to defend his seat in 2022 general elections.
He is a member of the 'tanga tanga', a political faction allied to Deputy President William Ruto.
In several occasions, the MP has accompanied DP Ruto to various functions in Kisii and Nyamira counties in the company of Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi who is a live member of the Raila Odinga led party ODM.
