Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has predicted doom for the Jubilee government should things remain as they are currently.
Speaking on AMLive Show on NTV Tuesday morning, Khalwale warned against the presence of opposition leader Raila Odinga in the equation.
He said that Raila is obviously close to President Uhuru Kenyatta with an aim of destroying the party, adding that he has always done it and might succeed again.
He cited his 2002 entrance into the KANU party which led to the party's destruction, before causing the same to retired President Mwai Kibaki during his first term.
"Anywhere and everywhere Raila goes he goes there to cause problems. He did the same to KANU before the 2002 elections before causing more problems in President Kibaki's leadership in 2005," he said.
"He caused so much trouble that the government had to be reconstituted afresh," recalled the former Kakamega gubernatorial hopeful.
This comes at a time when a section of Jubilee leaders led by Deputy President William Ruto has questioned Raila's closeness to President Uhuru Kenyatta through their March 9, 2018, truce.
Ruto had lately been claiming that Raila is out to destroy the party, allegations the former Premier has rubbished, insisting that he has no interest in Jubilee issues.
