South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro has warmed people's hearts after sponsoring the surgery of a girl who developed tumor on her head.
On 9th April this year, while addressing electorates at Nyakembene Market, Boikang'a ward, Osoro saw a nervous woman carrying a child who was consistently crying.
The legislator drew his attention and moved closer only to realise the bad state of the child.
Osoro offered to take the child to Kijabe hospital for the surgery.
"Recently, while engaging my bosses at Nyakembene Market, Boikang'a ward,my eyes pulled me to a woman who was carrying a baby, well covered presumably not to be seen by so many people. ....I decided to move close to the woman who then chose to uncover her baby while crying..what I saw and the face I met of Baby Molvin Moraa made me cut short my speech to attend her and the mother.....
"To cut the story short, we took baby Molvin to Kijabe Mission hospital, still a bit high in fee but we are assured of her normalcy by God's grace. From you I seek prayers," he posted
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the legislator announced that Baby Moraa had been discharged from hospital after a successful surgery.
“You remember baby Molvin Moraa that I posted in this platform about 2 weeks ago while seeking your prayers? Well, good news is, the surgery was a success, opted to forego our session in bunge this afternoon so I can discharge her from Kijabe hospital. Thank you for your prayers, she is finally okay. We thank God,” he posted.
Osoro's act of kindness has elicited warm reactions from his supporters who thanked him for the walking with the family through the journey.
