Majority Leader and Garissa Township MP has been plunged into a state of mourning.
This follows the demise of her blood sister Hoyo Arfon Bare Duale who succumbed to cancer on Monday after a long battle with the terminal illness.
Breaking the news of her kin's demise on her social media page, Duale asked Kenyans to pray for his family as they struggle to come to terms with the saddening news.
"Innalilahi wainaillahim raajun, may Allah have mercy on the soul of my sister Arfon Bare Duale after along illness (battling cancer)," Posted Duale.

Ms Arfon was diagnosed of cancer in 2016 and had been undergoing several chemotherapy sessions both within and outside the country until his demise on Monday.
