Political analyst Herman Manyora has said that Deputy President William Ruto stands very low chances of realizing his 2022 presidential bid, or even vying in the first place.
Speaking on Saturday, the commentator predicted a situation where the DP will be completely blocked, and forced down should he manage to climb over all the hurdles.
He said that the Kieleweke group, under president Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga are already busy frustrating the DP and his allies, in a bid to force him into submission.
According to Manyora, this is the reason behind the withdrawal of security details of his allies and attacks from top Jubilee Party leaders and national figures, all in a bid to frustrate him.
"These attacks, beginning from people who were close to him, his party leaders like David Murathe, SG Raphael Tuju, Combative Secretary General Francis Atwoli, General Kayaba and intimidation if his supporters are hurdles placed on his way so that William Ruto could be forced into submission," he said.
Manyora was speaking on his weekly YouTube analysis channel Take It or Leave It.
He added that it the instance that Ruto endures all of the assault he is already being subjected to, then he might have to deal with more vicious attacks in the future.
He predicted a situation where Ruto might even be sent to prison or be impeached, all in a bid to stop his possible presidency after the 2022 polls.
"In the event that they are not lucky, its what I call the nuclear option that could see him impeached or even sent to jail. When saw being sent to jail. You need not be guilty. Many people in Kenyan jails are not guilty, the guiltybare outside," he added.
