A woman has threatened to take legal action against Kenyans allegedly posting her photos on social media without her consent.
Stella Moraa who hails from Kisii argues that a photo of her ploughing has been used regularly without consent, something which she says is irritating.
This comes shortly after a local station, Egesa FM, used her photo in one of daily shows hosted by veteran presenter Nancy Kwamboka alias Nana.
The photo has been making rounds on social media with Egesa FM using it to recognize her hardworking skills.
In an interview with this writer, Moraa said that despite pulling the photo down from social media platforms, it has been used by people unknown to her.
Known as Stacy Roxy on Facebook, the woman has now decided to take Egesa FM head on, with court battle being one of her preferred option.
"I respect and love our radio stations but here you did me wrong. Surely, how can you use my picture without my permission?" she asked after the post was made at Egesa FM page.
The latest complaint throws Ms Kwamboka into a limbo given that a section of Abagusii people living in diapora wants her dismissed for demeaning them.
A video clip she uploaded at her wall condemning the summer bunnies of their misconduct when they come back to Kenya, went viral.
Bitter Kenyans in diaspora responded with insults in various videos that went viral in the streets of social media. In one video, she was asked to apologize.
Speaking to the writer, Moraa asked Kenyans to stop misusing her photo without her consent, adding that such violations could be punished.
