Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has promised to pay all the university fees for a Multimedia University student who dropped out due to lack of fees.
Owino met the student, Cosmas Mutua, on Tuesday evening in Nairobi.
''Today I met comrade Cosmas Mutua who dropped out of Multimedia University because of lack of school fees to be a watchman in Mombasa. He arrived in Nairobi today morning and we discussed several issues pertaining to his education which I will fully sponsor till he graduates. God bless,'' read the MPs post.
Cosmas hit the news last week after the legislator posted his plight on social media.
He then asked people with information pertaining to his whereabouts to tell him so that he may arrange for the student to return to school.
The students had been forced to leave school and become a security guard in Mombasa after suffering an accident along Mbagathi Road in 2015.
