National Resistance Movement (NRM) Kenya leader Dr Miguna Miguna has named two powerful people he claims Kenya police can never investigate.
Miguna in a tweet on Thursday said President Uhuru Kenyatta's mother, former First Lady Mama Ngina, as well as the commander in chief's brother Mohoho Kenyatta, can never the probed by the police irrespective of what they may have done.
"Stop your churlish lies Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta. The incompetent and shackled Kenya police cannot investigate your brother, Muhoho, or your mother, Nina, because they are the de-facto co-presidents. The only way to prosecute them is for you to resign," the outspoken lawyer posted on Twitter.
He, however, did not delve into details to reveal what the two may have done to warrant investigation.
Miguna has constantly criticized Uhuru from the time he (Uhuru) won the October 26 repeat election which opposition chief Raila Odinga and other NASA leaders boycotted. Miguna was in support of Raila during the August 8 general poll.
The relationship between the two even worsened after Miguna oversaw Raila's swearing in as the people's president at Uhuru Park in Nairobi on January 30.
Miguna was among NASA leaders who were arrested and detained following the swearing in. He was later deported to Canada where he is presently based.
