Speaking in a recent interview with Bongo Five, Vanny Boy said the agreement he signed with WCB-Wasafi does not hinder him from leaving the label and join other teams.

Rayvanny joined Wasafi when he was already a signee at another record label, Tip Top. Sources said Diamond talked with Tip Top before he was allowed to sign Rayvanny, who was by then called Raymond.

They then teamed up for a song 'Salome' that was one of the biggest hit here in the country and East Africa at large. The song topped music chats quite for some months before other hits came up.

The artist said that he is still a member at Tip Top even if his commitments are at Wasafi.

"Do you know am still under Tip Top? I am..meaning when the time comes, I can say, Diamond, I want to join my label, to do my stuff, etc. it is possible because my contract with Wasafi does not stop me from leaving, but I can only leave in good faith. (Unajua mimi sijaondoka Tip Top, wajua hilo wewe? Mimi ni Tip Top, kwa hivyo ikifikia wakati, biggy yeee, mimi nataka kuonana na record lable yangu, ...niwe nfanya vitu vyangu...inawezekana kwa sababu makubaliano yangu na Wasafi hayanizuii kufanya kitu changu, lakini sio mimi et vita, tumetoa mkataba, no, labada Wasafi wanifukuze mimi)" said Rayvanny in a video shared on Instagram.

A few months back, Rayvanny was linked to leaving Wasafi on grounds that Diamond was siding with Harmonize much that he did with other members.

At the current time, it is Harmonize who is rumoured to be planning to ditch Diamond.
