In a tweet on Friday evening, Mutua, a self-proclaimed moral cop, urged guardians to decide what their children watch and listen to from the media.

''The work of regulating media content can not be left to the government alone, guardians have a responsibility to guide children on the media they consume. #KFCBtreePlanting @InfoKfcb, '' said Ezekiel Mutua

Speaking on Friday at the KFCB tree planting day function, Mutua called out on media houses to reevaluate the kind of content that goes on air. He noted that their day will come and they will not like the actions the government will take against them.

The KFCB boss has always been against various media content that seems to promote immorality or indecency. He has always asked media houses to make sure that whatever content they provide for the nation should be good

"Unregulated media comes with negative content that destroys our youngsters. #KFCBtreePlanting @InfoKfcb," he added in a tweet.

He once attached media houses for putting a lot of emphasis and even putting "bad" headlines as their top pages.

During the week, Mutua came out to laud social media users over their campaign to end the 10 over 10 show aired on Citizen TV every Friday.

He noted that the show promotes immorality and bad behavior among young boys and girls. However, it clearly did not work as the show aired just like any other day.
