Even as politicians embark on early campaigns in readiness for the 2022 general elections, it can now be revealed that Garissa Township MP is grooming up his 'son' to ascend the throne as he heads for greener pastures.
According to a close ally to the MP, a university student is being groomed by the politician ahead of 2022 politics though he may not readily clinch the seat.
Asked whether the alleged student politician is the MP's biological son, the informer declined to divulge more saying that what he knew at the moment was the fact that Duale was grooming 'somebody' to take over after him.
"I know Garissa MP is now grooming one of his 'own'. He has already fronted someone who is likely to take over after him in local Township politics," the informer commented.
Though the identity of the alleged 'son' being groomed, unconfirmed reports indicate that it is the one Arafat Noor Abdullahi, a Jomo Kenyatta University of Technology (JKUAT) student who has in the recent past been alleging that he is the son to Majority leader Aden Duale.
