There was drama Thursday when a group of Nakuru residents touring the magical Menengai crater busted lovebirds in a compromising situation.
The young couple was reportedly making out in the thickets when the group stumbled upon them.
“They are kids, probably those who have finished their KCPE. They run away when they saw me approaching them,” Peter Ndehi said.
Ndehi said they were astonished that kids have become ‘this bold’ that they can engage in such behaviours.
“We would have disciplined them accordingly,” Ndehi added.
The girl’s panties and one flip-flop were found at the thicket where the two were.
Parents have been urged to take charge of their teenage children who finished exams as they might engage in immoral behaviours.
“Many boys who underwent initiation during this period are just loitering and seducing girls. They don’t know they have not even healed,” Maina Thuo said.
Crater has become a favourite hiding for many young lovers as it can be accessed through many places where there are no people.
