Controversial Kenyan athlete Asbel Kiprop has once again hit the headlines, this time with a steamy video that is doing rounds on social media.
The video, which is trending on social media, shows the three-time 1500m World Champion kissing a half-naked female companion in his car.
Kiprop is caught on the one-minute video, which he records, groping the unidentified lady, who is gyrating as they dance to a vernacular song.
The woman, who is fully aware that the moment is caught on camera, is wearing an unbuttoned blouse which reveals her white bra, and the video ends as they both kiss passionately.
The video emerges barely three months after Kiprop tested positive of using a banned energy-enhancing drug, after undergoing urine tests by International Athletics Association Federation (IAAF).
The lady in the video is not his wife and is said to have been in an affair with the athlete for quite some time. She is also a politician, and vied in last year’s general elections, with reports indicating that Kiprop might have funded her candidature.
Kiprop is a seasoned winner for Kenya, having won the 1500m race in Daegu, Moscow and Beijing in 2011, 2013 and 2015 respectively.
He also won gold over the 1500m distance at the Olympics in Beijing in 2008.
However, Asbel Kiprop has dismissed the controversial video and photos, saying his Facebook account had been hacked.
