A section of political leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto has come out publicly to issue their earlier stand on the BBI report.
The report was handed over to President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday.
Taking to social media, the leaders have vowed to support the report saying it has no divisive politics as earlier painted by their rivals.
"Now the BBI Task force has avoided the divisive referendum and reckons that the issues raised can be prosecuted through the parliamentary process. I wish to declare my support for this repor," tweeted Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa.
"Since they have ceded to our demands and avoided the Tsunami that could have washed away the bridges that H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and @WilliamsRuto have built since 2013 @KTNNewsKE @Bung" Barasa added .
The BBI initiative had received negative criticism from leaders allied to the Deputy President and himself before it was forwarded to the President on Tuesday afternoon .
Majority of the leaders invited to the hand over of the report seemed satisfied with its recommendations.
Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen present at the hand over ceremony also seemed to have made an about turn about the BBI and declared his support. his earlier stand on the report.
The BBI report is expected to be officially launched on Wednesday in a public function at Bomas of Kenya.
