A section of Nyamira County locals have condemned Nyamira County MP Jerusha Momanyi for turning herself to be Deputy President William Ruto's flower girl.
Led by ODM Youth League Leader Dennis Marube, Nyamira County Youth Leader and Lucy Nyang'ara said the MP has done nothing to benefit the people of Nyamira.
"Mrs Momanyi is busy worshiping DP Ruto instead of implementing her campaign promises. People like her should not be elected in 2022," said Marube.
Marube claimed the lawmaker has been too close with DP Ruto to be taught on how to loot public funds.
"The MP is being trained by DP Ruto on how to steal public money. We are on the look out to stop her from stealing what belongs to people," he added.
Lucy challenged the MP to make a formal apology to Nyamira constituents if at all she want to continue being the county MP.
"The Jubilee MP must apologize to Nyamira people because she is doing what she was not elected to do. She is only DP Ruto's flower girl attending DP Ruto's unnecessary trips to Gusii region without any tangible development," said Lucy.
She added that voters having nothing to smile about the MP's poor style of leadership.
