Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo has faulted the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), noting that its coming out as a two-man agenda.
This he is basing on the domination by its founders President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM boss Raila Odinga and leaders allied to them .
The two formed the initiative to look into the nation's reccurent political and social issues after their March 2018 truce, but has since attracted outcries from other leading politicians who have cited exclusion.
Speaking on Wednesday, the Wiper Senator raised similar concerns, saying that the BBI has been structured in such a manner that it seems like a two-man agenda, where others are only escorting the two.
"The BBI initiative appears as if it excludes everybody else and seemingly a 2 man agenda, Raila and Uhuru. Everybody else is either on the side or supporting or escorting," he said on KTN News' Point Blank show.
He added that some participants of the BBI are appearing to be shifting it from the national cohesion campaign it initially was to a political vehicle for the 2022 general elections.
According to the youthful Senator, the BBI is coming out the same way allies of Deputy President William Ruto are describing it; a campaign weapon for the 2022 polls.
"I now think that there is a person or people who are driving a deliberate agenda for the 2022 and the BBI initiative and report is going to be driven towards that agenda," he added.
Kilonzo is an ally of Wiper leader and Raila's running mate in the 2017 presidential elections Kalonzo Musyoka, who also initlly accused Raila of leaving him in the dark on the truce.
