It is every parent's joy to witness their children impressive performance every time they sit for an exam.

The technique of studying and revising seems overwhelming to many students which should not be the case.

The following will help your child understand the subject and score impressively,

1. Choosing a certain topic at a time

Advice your child to checking out the contents of the topic they want to revise on. This will help them know what they are supposed to cover by the end of the revision time.

2. Making summary condensed notes

Your child should make notes of the most important points. This will greatly help them understand what seems difficult.

If it is a working problem or a concept they are not understanding, they should write it on a separate paper to consult with their teachers later.

3. Try out questions related to the topic

Once your child is done with revising, let them attempt a few questions related to what they have revised. It is also important to time themselves Once done allow them to cross-check the answers with the notes.

4. Consulting their fellow students or teachers

When your child encounters a difficult concept encourage them to consult with their fellow students or their teachers. Once guided, they should endeavour to do more repetition and revision before the main exam.
