Inspector General of police Joseph Boinett on Monday released the list of newly appointed county commanders.
The appointments come about two weeks after the deployment of the regional commanders.
It also comes a few months after President Uhuru Kenyatta's directive which was aimed at reforming the Kenya Police so as to achieve efficient service delivery.
The reforms which were launched by the president in September last year saw the introduction of house allowance for junior police officers and the change of the police units.
Through a tweet, the Kenya National Police Service posted a list of the 47 county bosses.
