Sassy TV journalist Jacque Maribe made her first public appearance on Saturday since she left prison where she spent almost a month.
Maribe was at the Lang’ata Women’s Prison over the murder of Nairobi businesswoman Monica Kimani.
The journalist was charged together with her lover Joseph Kuria Irungu alias Jowie.
Maribe was released by the high court on a Sh1 million bond as her lover was denied the same.
High court judge Justice James Wakiaga termed Jowie as a flight risk and a threat to witnesses due to his story of guns and mercenary training.
He will be held at the Industrial Area Prison during the trial period.
The sultry Maribe has not been in the public eye since she was released. Sources at Citizen TV where she worked, before being frog-marched to Kilimani police station and later sent to Lang’ata Women’s Prison, said she has not reported back to work.
While releasing her on bond, the court barred her from reading, interviewing or reporting anything touching on the brutal murder.
On Saturday, however, Maribe was all glamorous as she attended the wedding of Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda.
She was in the company of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.
Here are Maribe’s photos during the stunning wedding.
