In a barbed tweet rubbishing the apology demand, he urged the deputy president to apologize to the victims of the Kiamba Church fire.

According to Etale, the hearts of the victims families will only relax if they get the apology from the DP.

"DP Ruto, on demanding for APOLOGY from the @TheODMparty Leadership, I want to remind you that the families and relatives of the victims of the KIAMBAA Tragedy in Eldoret are still waiting for a public apology from you. Their hearts will only relax after receiving that APOLOGY, " Etale tweeted.

In a bid to portray veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga as a leader who thrives on violence, the DP called on the former prime minister to issue a public apology for the cases of violence that were witnessed during the Kibra by-election.

Raila has not yet responded to the deputy president's demand for an apology.

The demand came after a viral video showing Kimilili member of parliament being roughed by youths allegedly on the orders of ODM legislator Simba Arati
