Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa has been asked to keep off ODM matters following her Tuesday's meeting with ODM leader Raila Odinga at County Hall.
In a much publicised meeting, Ms Jumwa met Odinga but details of their 30 minutes meeting remain scanty, although it's clear that she had asked Odinga to pass by.
Afterwards, Aisha came out guns blazing, accusing a section of ODM supporters of twisting the events of the day at County Hall for their own political gain.
But Nyamira ODM Youth Leader Dennis Marube accused Jumwa of engaging in sideshows, adding that the Orange party is not desperate for her.
"ODM made Aisha Jumwa and not the other way around. That's probably why she requested a face to face meeting with Raila Odinga when he showed around her offices," he said.
"As a party, we are not desperate and that should be clear. Nobody has even asked her to support our candidate for Kibra polls," added Jumwa.
Tuesday's meeting between Jumwa and Mr Odinga was the first between the two since the party attempted to kick her out for disloyalty.
And Marube now says ODM is now focused on grassroots poll which is scheduled early next year, adding that they will face Tanga Tanga without fear.
"We all know that Tanga Tanga is not even Jubilee. They don't have a party. For ODM, we are focused to deliver grassroots poll next year to increase our chances in 2022," he added.
