A Deputy OCS is among three people who have been arrested in connection to the murder of the Star journalist Eric Oloo.
Oloo was found murdered in the house of a Deputy OCS, Inspector Sabina Kerubo.
Kerubo is stationed at Ugunja police station in Siaya county.
Confirming the arrests, area OCPD Ibrahim Muchuma noted that investigations into the murder has been started.
The three suspects are being held by the police to help in the investigations.
"The three suspects were in the said house at the time of the murder," said Mr. Muchuma as quoted by the Star.
The OCPD revealed that Oloo's body had three deep cuts on his head.
According to reports from neighbors, Oloo and Kerubo had been living as husband and wife for sometimes.
However, things started going west when Oloo found out that Kerubo was dating another man.
"Two weeks ago, he went to confront the said man in an unknown location where he was beaten up," the neighbour said as quoted by the Star.
"When he came back on Wednesday night, he found Kerubo with yet another man at their house. When he tried to confront the man, he called his back up and beat him up to his death,'' added the neighbor who did want his name mentioned.
