Senate majority leader ranted Senator Ledama Ole Kina for being online on social media (Chatting and tweeting) in the midst of senate hearing proceedings.
In a tweet, the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator showed a sign of disbelief towards senator Ledama's tweet, as he was busy tweeting while other senators were busy hearing Governor Waititu's impeachment proceedings.
"This tweet was posted at 14:43 in the middle of a serious Senate hearing yet you were on social media chatting and tweeting," Murkomen said.
In a tweet that was posted by Narok senator on Tuesday, Ledama revealed that the senate still have a long way to go when it comes to dealing with impeachment hearings.
He went on to compare the type of United State senate hearing verses that of Kenyan senate hearing.
According to him, he wondered how Kenyan senators moved around and talking during the proceeding which is so different with USA senate where they maintained silence.
"We sure do have a long way to go! If you Compare the impeachment of Donald Trump by the USA Senate and that of Gov Waititu it’s like night & day! In Kenyan Senate we are walking around talking as the Assembly is making its case! While the USA senate the Senators maintain silence", Senator Ledama said.
