Kibwana said he may differ with the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader ideologically but that does not make them enemies.

"I have nothing against Mutua, we talk and discuss issues. We may differ on ideas but we are not enemies at all," Kibwana said.

He made the remarks during a live interview at a local radio on Thursday.

The Wiper chairman said he will continue to work together with Mutua as colleagues until the appeal case at the Supreme Court is determined.

"As per now, Mutua is the Machakos governor and I will continue to work with him unless the court decides there's a by-election and he loses," Kibwana said.

On matters of health, Kibwana said he has spoken with Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu and agreed that soon, Kitui residents will start seeking medication from Makueni for free and vice versa as long as they have the special cards given to them.

He said the two counties had come to an agreement that a special card be given to the residents which they can present at the time they want to access medical services.

Makueni County rolled out Universal Health Care services two years ago where residents have been getting health care free of charge.
