Mwarome hit the headlines back in 2016 when he was invited by the then Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti to hold a series of training sessions with the first team.

Although the call up surprised many, it was a clear display of his steady rise and progression from the U17 all the way to the U19 team. This call gave him a chance to show his capability in football which has yielded him much since then.

However, injuries which are the key enemies of any player, hampered his development at the German champions and in 2017 he opted for a new challenge joining the Augsburg reserve team.

Before leaving the Munich based club Mwarome had amassed 41 games for their junior teams scoring three goals in the process.

The 21-year-old was instrumental for Augsburg at the heart of midfield making 24 appearances in 36 games, helping them to an eighth-placed finish in the Regionalliga Bayern.

Mwarome will now compete for places with Kris Fillinger who extended his contract at Bonner by a year. He is expected to improve his talent and build his career at this new club.
