Popular Bongo Musician Mbwana Yusuf Kilungu alias 'Mbosso' is in mourning.

Mbosso is mourning the sudden death of his baby mama Martha. The distraught Mbosso described Martha as his friend and companion.

On his Instagram page Mbosso told of how circumstances forced them to be apart despite caring for each so much.

He said that the last time he spoke to Martha she was complaining of a headache but was full of happiness.

"Despite all the disagreements that started five years ago or more we never stopped showing how much we needed each other," wrote Mbosso.

He disclosed that Martha wanted their relationship kept a secret and their daughter too.

He noted that he was in a dilemma on whether to continue keeping their daughter a secret or tell her to the world 

"What will I explain to our daughter how will she understand that she had to be kept a secret," he said.

In an interview with Bongo5 Mbosso disclosed that the last discussion they had with Martha was about her shifting from Tegeta to Mbweni.

"The last time we spoke she told me she was looking for a house, she wanted to shift to Mbweni from Tegeta, I was shocked to be called a day later that she has left us," he said.

Martha passed on on Tuesday night at an undisclosed hospital where she had been transferred to after her condition worsened.

Initially, she had been admitted at Palestina hospital, Tanzania. Milard Ayo had reported that the popular comedienne was suffering from a spinal condition coupled with Malaria.

Celebrities across Tanzania have expressed their shock over the death of the comedians who brought nothing but laughter.

"Forgive me, forgive me my little sister please come and tell me it's not true," wrote Jackline wolper.

"Rest in peace cute" said Singer.

In Kenya, Martha was mourned by fellow comedians led by Nasra Mohammed. Nasra described Martha as the best comedian in the whole of Tanzania.
